Here is a quick Sibelius fix if you have  a bar with voices that look like this-

But you want it to look like this -

Highlight the bar, then go Edit>voices>swap 1 and 2

Will sort it for you!

Here are two nifty tricks to help you expand your Sibelius  selection tool box.To make it really effective open sibelius and try it out straight away – then make sure you teach someone else the same trick within a day or so.

Selecting just the notes you want in a bar

is as simple as command click on a mac or control click in windows.
BRILLIANT!

You can also copy quickly using the alt key

If you have something selected you can point the arrow/caveat to another bar and hit alt  and like magic you notes appear – this is faster than cut and paste.
